This Side Mount is made for Dutch and Belgian license plates (210mm x 140mm). It is made of 5mm steel, tumbled, sandblasted, treated with a zinc primer and then with a matt black texture powder coated with exterior quality!
This Side Mount fits on the following Harley Davidson motorcycles. You may need a Spacer:
- For HD Softail/HD BigTwin and HD Dyna 2008 and up you don’t need a Spacer
- For HD Softail/HD BigTwin and HD Dyna up to 2007, you’ll need a “Side Mount Spacer 3/4 (19mm)”
- For HD Sportster you’ll need a “Side Mount Spacer 1/2 (13mm)” (Shock mount)
For all other brands of motorcycles: this Side Mount fits every Bobber or Chopper. The mounting hole in the Side Mount is 26mm (1 inch). We sell spacers to decrease the mounting hole (26mm) to 19mm (“Side Mount Spacer 3/4 (19mm)”) or to 13mm (“Side Mount Spacer 1/2 (13mm)”). It is also possible to machine your own spacer to mount the Side Mount neatly to your rear axle.
You can mount it on the left side to your rear axle or shocks.
An old rear Ford lamp is the inspiration behind this retro looking taillight from Moon. Particularity, the lens is in a glass which is always better than any cheap plastic. The steel housing metal offers universal mounting through 2 back holes. Chrome plated. The bulb is of type P21/5W, 12 volts with a socket.
This Side Mount comes complete with stainless steel hardware to attach your license plate on the Side Mount.
